Bruce Grant – President and CEO
Bruce Grant is the founder and currently serves as CEO of EstesGroup. He began his career as a programmer and project leader, and advanced as a technology management consultant. He served as a Director with Cap Gemini and subsequently became President and Co-Owner of The RSI Group through 1998. In 1999, Mr. Grant also co-founded Luminant Worldwide, a public technology services company. Mr. Grant was elected 2001 President of the TechServe Alliance (www.techservealliance.org). In 2003, Mr. Grant was elected Chairman of the Board (2003-2005) of Engineers Without Borders – USA (www.ewb-usa.org). Currently, Mr. Grant directs overall EstesGroup strategy and serves on numerous small corporate boards as well as community groups and non-profit organizations.
Mark Herman– Vice President, Professional Services
Mark came to the EstesGroup after serving as Vice-President and Principle Consultant of IHS Technologies. He has extensive experience in manufacturing and technology, having started on the shop floor while putting himself through college to earn a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. Following a successful career in Engineering, during which he was awarded 3 U.S. Patents, Mark migrated to the IT world where he developed and managed the transformation of a national manufacturing company from a disparate multi-site environment into a centralized organization using the latest virtual and cloud-based technologies. As part of this transformation, Mark selected Epicor ERP and spent several years managing the implementation, optimization, and support of that platform while serving as Director of IT. In 2015, Mark joined IHS Technologies where he has led numerous successful Epicor implementations and upgrades as a Project Manager and Operations/Supply Chain consultant. Mark is excited to use his experience to provide the Estes Professional Services team with the tools and guidance that enable them to continue their exceptional record of customer engagement and satisfaction.
Brandon Haave – Vice President Operations
Brandon Haave has been a part of EstesGroup since 2004. During this time Brandon has had the responsibility of building top teams in EstesGroup’s ERP and Technology. In addition to finding, recruiting and retaining talent, Brandon has at one time or another been involved in every aspect of the successful growth at EstesGroup. Brandon has twenty plus years of experience in the technology industry. He has worked with a variety of different size business organizations from venture capital/start-ups to large Fortune 1000 type companies. Brandon has a strong background in traditional staffing, professional/technical recruitment, permanent placement, executive search, contract sales, management, client negotiations, strategic business direction as well as industry consulting and training.
Michael Bittner – Principal / Senior Advisor
Michael has been with EstesGroup for the past five years and is a Senior Management Consultant and has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and accounting systems development and implementation. Michael’s prior work experience includes ERP and other software systems implementation consulting, as well as development manager for several premier software providers. Michael has also worked as a research analyst for manufacturing and supply chain. Michael earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Accounting at the University of Massachusetts. He has authored numerous articles and research papers on Supply Chain for the Industry Analyst community. Michael has assisted over 30 clients in the implementation of their software solutions. Michael has also served as a consultant to the analyst community, having authored various research papers for consumption by the software user community. Michael can find the needles hidden in your business processes through an Estes Business Process Review and provide guaranteed results.
Mike Hoppe – Vice President Strategy
Mike spent fifteen years with Kimberly-Clark Corporation where he founded the custom surgical products division and spent most of the remainder of his operations career with worldwide responsibility for surgical manufacturing operations. Mike led some of the earliest implementations’ when ERP was in its infancy as well as systems development for product design and commercialization processes.
Mike earned his engineering degree (manufacturing & systems) from Ohio State, an MS in Operations Management from Georgia State and completed the University of Arizona MBA comprehensive course and exam. Mike also taught for 6 years in the graduate business school (MBA leadership program) for the University of Phoenix, served on multiple boards, and has written regular columns for two publications. Over the last 18 years, he has been engaged with C-level organizational, process, and leadership development within multiple industries, including manufacturing, finance, professional services, education, and IT.
Mike not only brings extensive manufacturing and process knowledge to Estes Group, but a considerable breadth of leadership, change management, and strategic experience that both we and our clients benefit from. Mike operates in multiple arenas on our leadership team, provides sales and marketing support, and assists clients at the highest level of change management.
Jeff Klaubert– Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Jeff has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, 16 of which were with Cisco Systems. At Cisco, he was a global lead for partner cloud go-to-market strategy. Upon leaving Cisco he founded VARsInTheCloud LLC, a business and sales strategy consulting company focused on helping traditional IT Solution Providers make the transition to digital business models. Jeff focuses on how technology is used to create business outcomes. Having a technical background, he has the ability to rapidly absorb new information and translate it to how it connects to specific business use cases. Jeff draws on his experience working with hundreds of companies worldwide, helping them adapt to the biggest shift in modern times, which is the move to digital technologies and business models. Jeff has a passion for helping companies develop new capabilities and profit from technological change.
Ben Nixon – Vice President Enterprise Technology
Ben is a respected global business and technology leader with strong cloud and on-premise expertise in complex business and technology environments. Ben’s solutions-focused approach and creative problem-solving skills have established him as a go-to expert in the ERP industry. With over 17 years of Epicor ERP consulting experience, Ben is recognized nationally and internationally as a value added advisor to his peers and the Epicor customer base. Ben and his teams provide solutions to allow customers to remain on the leading technology edge and be competitive in the global marketplace, including database management, performance management, virtualization and disaster recovery planning. As a virtual CIO to EstesGroup’s clients, and as EstesGroup’s Enterprise Technology VP, Ben drives value-added solutions and supports IT infrastructures from planning through implementation and on-going support.
Miley Ramirez – Director Enterprise Solutions
Miley combines a real passion for people and learning, which results in helping organizations make strategic decisions that have meaningful impact on their business. With over 17 years’ experience, Miley has worked with multiple enterprise software systems in a variety of industries including, manufacturing, wholesale and retail distribution, telecommunications, not-for-profit, financial services and professional services industries. As an ERP specialist, Miley enjoys utilizing his skills to solve challenging problems for businesses of all shapes and sizes.
Brad Feakes – Director, Technical Consulting
Brad Feakes joined the EstesGroup in 2014 and manages our custom solutions team. Brad has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, construction management, supply chain, and enterprise resource planning. Before implementing business systems, Brad worked as a process analyst, in the areas of Six Sigma, Lean, Business Process Management and Value Stream Mapping. Brad has been implementing Epicor over the past ten years, both as a customer and as a consultant. His expertise includes business analysis, project management and the orchestration and administration of software development lifecycles within the context of ERP implementations. His efforts serve to support the Estes Group’s strategy of leveraging out-of-the box ERP functionality whenever possible, while organizing the design and development of custom solutions, as to maximize their return on investment, while minimizing their total cost of ownership.
Kurt Watson – Director, Professional Services – Projects
Kurt began working with EstesGroup in 2015 as a project manager, managing many of our larger implementations. Kurt has worked in IT since 1998 as an IT manager and ERP developer in manufacturing, construction management and architecture industries. In 2007, Kurt implemented Epicor’s Vantage product for a multi-site manufacturer and has worked primarily with Epicor software since that time. His understanding of out-of-the-box functionality combined with an understanding of the customization tools included in Epicor ERP allows him to make recommendations for best practices for each customer. Kurt utilizes EstesGroup’s PEAK methodology (our project management toolkit) on each implementation to deliver well-documented, well-tested and stable systems suitable for each customer’s business. In addition, as a Director, Kurt leads the functional consultants on our ERP projects and assists in their delivery of successful projects.
Daryl Sirota – Director, Technical Services
Daryl leads EstesGroup’s technology delivery for our managed services clients. Daryl has over 25 years of experience supporting technology platforms of all kinds, including networks, databases, systems and servers. He began his career performing “break-fix” work on early personal computers and programming them for small business use, then migrated into network and enterprise support. He is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in SharePoint, Exchange and Hyper-V technologies and is a certified Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) for Hyper-V, Vista, Server 08, SharePoint, Exchange 2007, SQL 2000+. In addition, Daryl is a Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) and an HP Master Accredited Systems Engineer in Messaging & Collaboration..
Kerry Streck – Controller
Kerry started as a bookkeeper handling small business management progressing up to an Accounting Auditor working alongside CPA firms acting as the client liaison. Her background in management and team building, along with lean principles and Six Sigma training, plays a vital role managing our office headquarters and finance team. Kerry graduated Magna Cum Laude with Phi Theta Kappa honors with a degree in Accounting. She continues her college education to earn her Master’s in Accounting with a minor in Human Resources. Kerry, recently promoted to Controller, leads the finance team for The Estes Group focusing on Accounting, Payroll, and Human Resources.
